Winter is on the way…

Winter is fast approaching!  Did you experience major ice build-up last winter?  You may want to consider having us take a look at your insulation.  Lack of insulation and improper venting in your attic leads to heat loss out of your roof.  The warm air from inside your home rises, hits the roof and melts the snow, from there is runs down and when it hits the cold surface of your aluminum drip edge and fascia it freezes causing ice build-up.  Insulating your attic will reduce the amount of heat you are losing and in return reduce the amount of ice-build up.
